The standalone install instructions recommended cloning the repository, but this is not a good idea if you want a stable release. This changes the instructions to suggest downloading the latest release instead.

Just a side-note: Downloading the latest release makes the upgrade path more involved for people. Using a git clone is easier in that regards.

Yeah, that's why I had originally had the git clone, but (since I don't have a develop branch) the latest release is considerably safer. I'm ok with having a broken master for a bit.
